As part of the Business On Purpose conference we are hosting a series of unique Breakout Breakfast sessions in the days after the conference.
Our first session will be led by Michael Boyes, the President of Credo Consulting, on September 20 at 7:30 a.m. For 25 years, Michael has been equipping leaders with the skills they need to engage their employees in meaningful work and run God-honoring businesses.
Michael’s session, “When did God Create Employee Engagement?” will explore biblical principles for helping people find meaning and motivation in work by drawing from God’s truth in the book of Genesis.
Michael will show us how, in the beginning, Adam and Eve were completely motivated, engaged, and satisfied with their work—maybe the most productive humans ever. That’s what engaged employees do—they produce more and better, they please customers, they show up on time and stay late, they drive profitability, and they act like owners.
It turns out that the Author of productivity knew exactly how to keep His people motivated, engaged and satisfied, and He recorded it for us in the book of Genesis. In this session Michael will examine what Genesis reveals about employee engagement, compare it to modern research findings and apply it to your business.
But don’t mistake this for an easy lesson, managing God’s way takes wisdom, selflessness and courage.
