In this episode…
In this episode, the Social Sales Link team talks about Text Replacement, LinkedIn algorithm, mobile invitations, and video messages.
Did you know that there are feature differences between accessing LinkedIn through the mobile App and through a desktop application? Brynne talked about one of those features that’s available in the App but not in the desktop which is none other than the video messaging. Brynne shared how she’s obsessed with sending video messages as a way to connect with her first-degree connections or re-engaging with them or even welcoming someone to her network!
Did you also know that LinkedIn uses Algorithms? What’s surprising is that it doesn’t only have one but two algorithms – Desktop and Mobile App, according to Bob. Sally Jo on the other hand shares about the Text Replacement App which will save everyone’s time because of its shortcode features. By putting those shortcodes it allows the user to share their welcome message, connection requests, and even reference links to their connections.
“Thou shall not send a connection request without a personal message”, this is the Social Sales Link’s first commandment according to Bill who stresses the importance of sending a personalized message when connecting.
